This book is empowering reading.
If you feel you are stuck in a rut, not fulfilling your true potential, vaguely hoping for a different kind of life or even just bored then this could possibly be the push in the right direction that you are looking for.
Carole Gaskell has been a top UK life-coach for many years and in this book she invites you to transform your life by following an inspirational step by step guide to changing key elements in your life whether it be finances, confidence, energy, relationships or more time and, most importantly, to celebrate the new you.
The book is broken into simple chapters, starting with ‘Preparing your launch pad’, and the author encourages you to work through each part at your own pace rewarding yourself on each completed section.
Each chapter is easy to read and follows with exercises, case studies and quotations throughout – My personal favourite being ‘You don’t get to choose how you’re going to die, or when. You can only decide how you are going to live, now’.
Some sections are tougher than others, some take longer to complete than others and some can be skipped and referred back to at a later date. There is something in this book for everyone, whatever level, age or experience and I found it beneficial to cherry-pick the chapters pertinent to my own life.
This is a comprehensive, powerful and well-balanced self-help book which I thoroughly enjoyed reading and would certainly recommend to others.
