Yeah, I have come to hate shopping for shoes too. I have wide feet and lots of times, when I find cute shoes even in my size I can't get my feet into them! (I love sandals though, because they are more forgiving.) I had one pair of black suede 2-3" heels that I absolutely loved because they were cute, versatile and comfortable--a real miracle for me! But they finally fell apart and I have yet to find a suitable replacement. I recently had to buy shoes to go with a formal gown and settled for some low "kitten" heels; they're pretty and relatively comfortable. Got a really good deal on 'em too!

Well, my shoe tastes are eclectic.  I love to wear heels, and tend to most days, but that's a preference and not because I feel they are more professional.  What's professional about falling on your face if you can't walk in your shoes???  With my suits with skirts, I wear the heels (2-3in tops) and my suits with pants can go with either heels or pumps.  Can't find loafers that I like the look of with pants, personal thing there.  I have a few pair of flats, but prefer at least a slight heel, so they are few and far between.  For going out on weekends, I even have some "hooker" heels, tall 4 1/2 inch plus built up base... man I love those!  Wear long jeans and have a ball.  As for number of shoes... I may be in the running there.  Gotta organize my closet this weekend, so will report back on the number of shoes in there when I'm done.
