As a child I loved US programmes like The Brady Bunch, Bewitched etc, in the UK I loved The Double Deckers, Banana Splits. I hate dramas, cartoons and not really into sitcoms, however one of my favs of the 90's has to be Friends. I still love watching repeats today. To be honest there is very little on TV these days that is worth watching apart from sport!

I'm afraid I'm turned off by a lot of what's on UK TV - soaps and unfunny sitcoms just don't do it for me. I don't watch a great deal of sport, but I did get caught up in the World Cup and I'll be watching the Ryder Cup too.
I mostly enjoy lightweight drama, usually American - West Wing, CSI (all versions although the original is still the best), Grey's Anatomy, House, Law & Order. And of course the late, great Friends, Frasier and Will & Grace.
I don't do reality TV (can't bear things like Big Brother), but I am a bit of an Apprentice addict. Again I prefer the USA version with Donald Trump, but still enjoyed the UK one too.

The West Wing, which is currently being repeated here in the UK on More4 right from the start. As Series 5 was never shown here, I am determined not to miss it!!! Comedy - Friends and Mash I think. Jackie, Peer Moderator www.iqps.org

For me it used to be Alias before it went off the air last year, and I used to watch 24 without fail. But now, I don't have time to watch much television with 4 plus acres to care for and a massive pumpkin patch with three giants (200 plus pounds) to take care of, so by the time I get inside, it's past 9:00 and I'm too pooped to care whats on. I watch alot of TV Land as it has lots of the old TV shows I used to LOVE to watch, like All In The Family, Little House On The Prarie, Brady Bunch, and Happy Days. A few of my favorites back in the day. And of course, CMT has Dukes of Hazzard on, and I try to catch that when I can. But I have the full series on DVD, so not a priorty. Favorites on the air now are Grand Ole' Opry on GAC and What Not To Wear on TLC. Love that stuff. Love the home make over shows too, those are great for ideas on my own home. Otherwise, hubby is in a rut, he loves to watch Star Trek Next Generation and its on every night on G4 for us anyway and I think 2 episodes back to back, OY! By that time, I don't care whats on. I'm more of a movie buff anyway. Diamondlady Peer Moderator

Ok, all US versions: CSI (all except Miami, and yes, original is best)... Law and Order (all versions and Season 17 starts soon!)...Criminal Minds... Without a Trace....House (though just discovered it last season - late)... and just started a new show we like - Justice. Ones that are my fav, but not hubby's, are Ghost Whisperer, the Apprentice, and lately the Runway. Last 2 are the only 'reality' shows I watch other than Nashville Star when it comes on. Can't wait for another season of that show and get to pick yet another country music star. I'm 3 for 3 currently. I guess looking at our DVR listing you'd have to say we like drama, but really love comedy. Just doesn't seem to be much good comedy on that isn't re-runs. We do watch 2-1/2 Men, which is funny, but I think it's all re-runs too, though new to us. For those who watch the Apprentice, did y'all here that Trump fired his female assistant from there? Carolyn, wasn't it? Anyway, evidently she went off and did something on her own and he fired her for it. Rumor that I heard had the guy off there also either fired or quitting... what was his name? I'm bad with names, unfortunately, so can't remember off the top of my head. Anyone else hear this information or anything similar? CountriGal Peer Moderator

I love ER and Star Trek (any version), but I've also gotten into Myth Busters on the Discovery Channel. They get to do the coolest things!

For comedy - 2 1/2 Men, Reba and reruns of Everybody Loves Raymond. Not much into realty TV, but I do like Dancing With the Stars. For drama, I like The Unit, Without a Trace, Grey's Anatomy, CSI and Deperate Housewives.

My favorite is Gilmore Girls followed closely by the British comedies i.e. Are You Being Served, As Time Goes By, Keeping up Appearances actually most all of the UK comedies except for Benny Hill.
I also like Ghost Whisperer, Las Vegas and CSI.

Oh, I forgot them... How could I??? MythBusters are great! I do love some of their busting... and disagree with them on some of their determinations and love to see when they go back to re-look at those items.
