Right now, I just wish I had a title. Loser is the title that fits me best right now. The last few months have been hell. I haven't been able to frequent these boards for almost 2 months. I'm happy to be back with my friends here, but my spirits are low.

Lots of bad stuff and problems with elderly parents. Dad has Alzheimer's and not doing well. I don't know if anyone has even noticed my absence lately.  I am suffering, but I know that it could always be a lot worse.  I'm sure better days are ahead. Just needed to grieve a little here. I love you guys.

Love you to you all!!!!

Whitesatin, wondered where you've been, we've missed you around here.  I figured you were busy with your new job and all.  Sorry to hear things didn't work out there.  But you know, I've been thru a similar situation years ago, was on layoff from my first job for only a couple months, landed a nice comfy job I could handle and the people were great when whamo I was caught up in a company closing!  So twice in one year in a matter of 3-4 months I was on layoff again!  Good things come to those who wait!  I found another job after a few months later (but not before going crazy at home first ).  Then I moved on to two more jobs I loved including my current one (5 years later at this place).  Case in point, things always seem to work out for the best even though it may not always seem that way at the present.

Hang in there kiddo....Keep me posted on how things are going would ya, and don't be such a stranger around here.

WhiteSatin... how dare you not think you've been missed. {HUG}  But I, like Chris, assumed you were busy on the new job and would pop in when you could.  I'll keep you and your family in my thoughts/prayers.  Stay as positive as you can in the situation and know that we're always here if you need to gripe, vent, or even party.  You're part of our family, ya know.

Dear Whitesatin,

Yes, you have been missed!  I am so sorry to hear about your dad's health.  When it rains, it pours.  Just know that we are all here for you whenever you need a shoulder to lean on.

Take care and keep in touch with us, OK?

WhiteSatin,  I've noticed you've not been around.  My dad had Alzheimer's too and I ended up being his caregiver for a while.  If you'd like an understanding ear from one who's been there, give me your email address and we can talk!
