Like most admin professionals, I wear a lot of hats in our office but how do you handle business cards and correspondence when you truly have multiple titles?
I am an Executive Assistant with one set of duties, a Project Administrator with another set of very separate duties, and my business cards have my title as Administrative Assistant although my duties have increased many fold from the Administrative Assistant function in our office.
I am sure I am not the only one with this situation. Any suggestions? (Multiple business cards are out)

Been there. Fortunately, I now only have one title, but before my business cards read Training Specialist/Administrative Analyst. I used to swear I was just going to change that to "Jill of All Trades."

My title is Administrative Specialist that can work for you too! Although Bridget "Administrative Wonderwoman" sounds great too! --- Bridget Wife to Eduardo (12/4/99), Mommy to Aaron (10/26/01)

I have been thinking of using just a big SA which stands for Super Assistant!

Now I'm Administrative Manager which encompasses everything. Why the heck didn't they think of that in the first place?

I'd just go for the basic dual title (even though I'm sure that still doesn't say it all). Executive Assistant/Project Administrator or vice-versa.

Bossie Manager? Hmmmm....that one works! Some of my staff have suggested I just use "Mommy." Edited by phoenix55 on 20/03/02 12:56 PM.

Note to self: You know better than to read some of these threads while drinking coffee. Have nose checked for burns... have someone do internet research on coffee snorting and possible harmful effects....
Mommy?! BWHAHAHAHA, loud belly laughs coming from my office have people suspicious that I am having far too good a time!

I still vote for my favourite "Office Godess". That says it all. Although "Mommy" would cover it pretty much the way it has been here lately: "Oh, did your ego get a booboo? Come and mommy will make it better." "Johnny won't share his marketing plan with you. Well, let me go and speak to Johnny's mommy (aka Assistant)" "Stop doing that. Do you want your face to freeze that way?"

You know, it's gotten so bad around here lately that I refer to OJT as "potty training." We're moving our offices (just two floors up), everyone's stressed and they're looking to us "gray hairs" (as my boss calls us--I'd rather be called "Mommy" than" gray hair") to "move their cheese" for them.

Goodness, I promise to never complain about my co-workers again. At least I do not have to be mommy to them! That's way too funny, ya'll, the way you spell it out. Joining those who have shot liquids onto their desk/keyboard. CountriGal Deskdemon Editorial Board Member

Why not go with business cards with no title? Or go with a generic Department name. My business cards say "Administration" which could be anything from receptionist to manager to HR. People don't dismiss me because my actual title is Branch Secretary.
