It took me a little longer than I had planned, but I'm finally certified as a Microsoft Office 2010 Master. My vouchers were expiring on October 28, so I am really glad I got this checked off my to do list. I would have felt terrible wasting those vouchers (cost about $400 for five exams).
I went to a testing center more than an hour away (only place I could find that allowed testing on Saturdays). Someone else was scheduled ahead of me, so I couldn't get in until 11:15 and the center was only open until 2. Since they allocate about an hour per test, they would only let me pre-schedule two tests. Fortunately I zipped through them so quickly (except taking a bit too long on Excel Expert), that I was able to fit 4 tests into the 2.5 hour time slot. Ran out of time at the testing facility to do Access, but it won't be hard to fit in one test during the next two weeks, whereas five was going to be a real challenge.
I feel better running the Microsoft Office online study groups I have been leading. I am just finishing up Word and getting ready to start Excel on Nov. 5. This was a good refresher so I can share test taking tips with the attendees.
Now on to the rest of my 2012 goals! Woo hoo!
