Does anyone use Google Docs and maybe this Chromebook on a regular basis instead of Microsoft Office? My hard drive crashed at home and I need a new computer and I am not sure I want to pay for a new set of Office but move to "the cloud." Any recommendations?

Not quite, gee. Windows skydrive is only file storage, although it does have collaboration tools.
Google docs provides a free copy of their version of Microsoft Office (in addition to the online file storage).
I don't use it myself but I know people who do and they speak highly of it.

Thanks - will check this out. Like Alice my hard drive also crashed so am looking at options.

I looked at this last night and if you read the link above comparing Skydrive to Google Docs, the results do favour Google Docs.
I think this could be what I'm looking for.
Thanks for this. Strange I had just posted about this last week too.
