I think any Corporate entity who puts music on their web page and DOESNT give me a way to turn it off, is automatically on my Hit list!
Sheesh! And the stuff they are promoting, if you really look at it, is stuff you'll do yourself, as an Admin and probably better!

Psh. Boss annoying feature No 2543: throw money at some publication or gadget that you think you can use to make the admin to do something instead of paying for a specialist service.
This feature can be applied across the board to: software; accounts; health and safety; cleaning; networking; office equipment; transport - and many more!

Shoot Liz, it doesn't even have to be for the admin. If its new, computerized, technical, trendy, etc. boss is going to want it. Doesn't matter if its worth the expense or not or even if we can afford it, its a matter of keeping up with the Johnsons. Michelle

I must say though, that I used a site similiar to this to help me with planning my move last year. Could I have done it myself? Yes. But this gave me a pre-set checklist (template) to follow, and helped me remember little things for the move that I might have forgotten otherwise. And the fact that it highlighted things to do as far out as 3 months from the time of move (and I'm notorious for not doing things that far in advance when it comes to moves) helped motivate me to do those things.
Chris, let me check around and I might still have the online (free) site that I used. I'm sure most of the same information is available there as is in this book, and it costs less. As admins, we go to specialists for templates for things we work with (an accountant for an accounting form, fiscal for travel expense sheets, etc) so why not go to a moving company to get a template for a move? At least use it as research in developing your own if you decide you want one.

Chris, I've sent you a document about moving that you might like to have a look at.
