Christmas Party

Well, what a night we had on Fri, such revelations!  Everyone looked a million dollars, some of the girls I didn't even recognise.  Was a bit nerve wrecking for me since it was my first Christmas party with my new company, but it was great and as we didn't have a sit down meal, everyone was able to mingle more and move between different groups of people.  I thought I'd just let you know that despite the earlier incidents with "Joe", we ended up having a few dances together and even enjoyed a laugh about it in work yesterday.  I think the ice may not only have broken now but is well and truly melted.  I also got to the bottom of the incident by an outside observer who indicated he is scared of me.  A very interesting night had by all!

Glad you had a great time and that things with Joe are looking better!  We had our party Saturday night and it went well also.  Had some great food, got some nice bath stuff and hubby got a hunting "thing" when we played Dirty Santa, so all in all it turned out great.  Of course, anything was an improvement over the first of the week when a deer tried to ride to work with me one day......only problem was, he wanted to ride in the front seat of the car!!
