My five managers, the director, and two non-managerial staffers got together and purchased a gift for me--a one-hour massage at my favorite spa. It is VERY sweet of them; I only go for a massage about once a year because I can't afford to treat myself like that.
How do I thank all eight of them? Do I need to write eight individual thank-you notes? Can I send an email to them as a group? There's certainly no way I can produce eight gifts by Friday, so that option is out (one staffer who's a true friend already received his gift from me).
What to do?

In the past I have handled it a couple of ways ... not sure what is correct. In one case, I wrote the thank you note to the Office (as that is how the gift was given) and it was routed through everyone individually.
On another case I simply wrote an e-mail to the individuals.. .either as a group or individually, thanking them for the gift.
Not sure what is correct etiquette, but I felt comfortable with doing it these ways.

Since it wasn't the whole group and the givers listed their names on the card, I'd have to do it by email, I guess. Thanks for the input!
And aren't they sweet! I really liked them even before they gave me this lovely gift.

It's a group gift so one email would suffice. Or address a thank you card to the most senior person and have them pass it on - we have done that in work eg. we bought a wedding gift for a colleague and she sent a thank you card to our boss thanking everyone - then we pinned it to our noticeboard so everyone could read it.
