I'm trying to organise a one day off-site meeting, as close to Lewes in East Sussex as possible. I've tried the Hydro Hotel in Eastbourne, Deans Place Hotel in Alfriston and the National Golf Club near Uckfield, Shelleys, Lewes Arms and the Crown in Lewes, all to no avail. The meeting is on 10th November for 15 people, seated boardroom style.
Does anyone know any relatively inexpensive venues?

Have you tried Brighton itself? There are so many hotels and venues there that you may find something faster, and although it's not Lewes, Lewes is not far away and people from outside the area might find Brighton easier to get to.
