I'm not the one who normally handles this, but he's out on vacation, so guess who's lap it falls into! We have a load needs to be shipped flatbed trailer from GA to NY this afternoon. We had a carrier all lined up, but they called yesterday and the truck broke down. (They're still working on getting us another truck, but no luck yet.)
Need a 48' flatbed trailer, with tarps, going from Atlanta, GA area to Jamaica, NY. Anything is helpful at this point.

I don't know if this will help you, but how about Yellow Freight? The # that I have for them is 1-800-610-6500 or possibly FedEx? They have special trucks for point to point develivery. It's kind of expensive, but we have used them both before. I hope this helps you out. Jill in Boston Edited by jak0215 on 11/06/02 04:03 PM.

Yellow freight is the way to go, they're reputable and get the job done. Whether they can get the job done on this notice,,, well let us know if it doesn't work out and we'll come up with some other suggestions.

Somebody else came through for us, but I liked dealing w/ Yellow over the phone, didn't really have a chance to discuss the truckload or anything, but I hope to be able to use them in the future. Thanks for the reference.
Andrea, is this the kind of thing you're wanting to do with the vendor referral page?
