We used to have a library but in the interest of saving storage space and money, we opted to give employees Internet access instead (hard copy subscriptions got too pricey to renew).

There are lots of sites with free dictionaries, thesaurauses, encyclopedias, etc. Anything you can't find for free you can subscribe to via Internet or order a cd rom (sometimes cd roms are free too).

I read our daily newspaper on the Internet for free to browse for articles related to our business and check what similar companies are doing that we could be doing.

Our IT people set up some favorites links from suggestions we submitted (sites we thought would be helpful to a lot of us).

Add www.firstgov.gov to your favorites to get the latest tax information, laws, etc.

Everything is moving toward Internet and e-commerce.
