I can't imagine trying to do timecards for an organization that doesn't keep this information electronically. I find keeping timecards extremely easy, but then we all (employees) request our leave in the computer program which tracks our actual leave balances, then our supervisor must approve it electronically in order for the timecards to go through appropriately (without errors). As timekeeper, you can post their leave without supervisor approval (since most of the time they've already been off by the time you post it) and it's just waiting before timecards are submitted for the payperiod for the suprevisor to approve all overtime or leave. This works really well for us, and I wouldn't want to try it any other way.
