Thanks for the kind words and lucky for my future record nothing was ever put in writing.  It was purely verbal bitching.
As for constructive dismissal I admit it, I am spineless.  I could have also taken my previous  bosses to Employment Tribunal but it was just too much.  And I cannot see myself actually doing anything about it in the future either.
