While my co-workers do use my in-box, my bosses don't. They just put things willy-nilly on my desk. Since my desk is usually fairly tidy, that's ok. I do have one boss who insists on sticking things right under my nose. Even if I'm working on something, he will put it right on top of the papers I am using! Now, that makes me growl under my breath. But he's a dear generally - I've been working for him for many years and love him to pieces, so I just keep it to myself. Besides, he's bound to be retiring one of these days!
