I've got the day after Christmas off which is my MIL's birthday. So that worked out pretty well for us now that she's living with us. My husbands company has Christmas shut down from Christmas to New Years. This year, he has the option to work overtime if he wants to because they are so far behind in orders. So, he's working the week. We don't have any kids, so it's not like we have to be home watching the kids while they are on Christmas break, and husband decided he'd like to take advantage of the overtime while he can. We didn't have anything planned this year anyway. Traditionally we would be at his mom's house which was a 3 1/2 hour drive to Eastern part of NY State. But, Christmas Eve is at mom and dad's house then Christmas morning at our house.
