I support 15 people on-site and one in a different facility. I'm treated professionally on a daily basis, and appreciate it when people use my name to ask me things. One fellow, who disrespected everyone, used to start by saying just "Hey,..." I really hated that. Thank God he didn't last long in the job.
I think because I've been a shared commodity for so long, people are used to being very polite and thoughtful when they ask for my help.
There are one or two who will comment to me privately about the big projects, but I miss the days when a big THANK YOU or WELL DONE was brought up in the group meetings, once projects were successfully completed. People are so busy nowadays with work, they just move on to the next thing with no mention of the recently-completed seminars, etc.
Overall, I feel content with my treatment at this company, and hope to stay here for many years.
