This is a difficult one because on one hand I can say yes yet on another, no.

Is it respect when people call you from their office and keep calling until you run in?  I had this happen to me previously and hated it - I wanted to ignore my name being called but felt I couldn't suddenly make out I was deaf!  

In my current role I am contracting for an IT company and so it's kind of strange. For most of the contractors we are treated as normal however I would say on occasions we are not communicated to about company matters and are left out of certain situations.  I guess that is because we are not permanent employees but you sometimes feel you are neither one thing nor the other.  Even though there are more contractors on this project than permanent staff, you can still feel at times, left out.

On the whole, I would say I am respected but not always included.
