Well I too am self employed so pay myself on the back!!!
However, funny to share: Wednesday 21 April was the day this year as you know. It also happened to be the Queen's birthday so all the Union flags were flying on flagpoles which lie empty the rest of the year and when I commented on a flag I could see flying across from my normal 'just roofs' view from my parliament office, I asked my MSP why the flags were up (forgotten at this point...)
When she said it was the Queen's birthday (after wondering!) I said, Oh it's also Professional Secretaries' Day (C), thought they must be making a special effort in Edinburgh this year to recognise it, so we had a good laugh. It has to be said that this particular client, my MSP, is totally appreciative of me throughout the year and so I don't 'need' to have anything commemorated on the day or week itself.
IQPS is celebrating the end of Professional Secretaries' Week (c) today by holding its annual Spring Conference in London. I'm celebrating in my own way, going to see David Cassidy on his last ever UK tour tonight in Glasgow! Listening to him just now, to get in the mood!
