Basinhall Street, EC2 is in theMoorgate/London Wall/Cityarea with Liverpool Street just round the corner.

As for the area / hotels etc try looking at www.thomweb.co.uk.  It is a really good source for all that sort of thing.

If you want me to look you up some reasonably priced places let me know - I know lots in the area.
