It is a dictaphone that you're after; it seems to be our lifeline at times here. I have so many conference calls, that the dictaphone is my only way to keep the minutes straight for the meeting. They're right; please keep in mind (and gently mention this to Bossie) that there are laws and FCC Guidelines protecting privacy of conversations on the phone; "reasonable privacy" can't be violated in this case, because "reasonable privacy" is what you have on a traditional phone. Cellphones, etc. obviously are a different case altogether. I've worked in military intelligence and we were taught that such monitoring/recording could not be performed without the expressed consent of everyone involved. The only exception was in criminal investigations, where a court order was needed, or if the surveillance is/was being done by a PI. Way off the subject, but interesting to know, nonetheless. Hope you found what Bossie was looking for... no one needs that kind of stress on a Friday!!!
