Wow! Maybe my potential layoff (won't know anything til July 16th) won't be such a bad thing after all.
I thought I had pretty good benes here, but sounds like there are way better benes to be had elsewhere.
Maybe I'll start my job search early to try and find companies with those great benefits. I was going to just wait until I knew for sure whether I would be laid off or not, but then I would only have 20 days to find a good job. But now I'm thinking since I'm so low on the seniority list that even though I might not get laid off this year, I might next year (next year's budget looks more grim).
I'm going in search of those great benefits!
