Hello. It's my first post, I will take it easy and only pick up your brains on this one: Have you ever hired a service like "Priority Pass" for airport lounges? If so, how was your experience with it? My MD travels frequently around the globe (Economy ) and I would like to give him a treat. Thank you for all the very good advice you guys post here, it's been extremely helpful! Thanks! Satine Satine

My only experience with VIP airport lounges was a boss some years ago who travelled in his own jet and had access anyway to VIP lounges because of his status. I do know that Priority Pass has a website. It's a membership service, I believe, and one of my friends says she has had an excellent experience with it for her boss with access to lots of lounges worldwide.

It is quite expensive, I think, though, so maybe worth checking if they do a sample visit or two first?

My boss has a priority pass. He's never commented on how good/bad it is but as he renews it every year he must think it is worth it.

First you might check if his miles already allow him access. If your boss is a frequent traveler with layovers it is definitely worth it. Yes they are expensive. Perks - quieter area usually children free with snacks or drinks provided. Some even have showers! Business people ususally appreciate the wifi connectivity or just the abilitity to charge up their laptop before the flight. My dh is an airline employee and we are seriously considering paying the airline employee discount rate so we can access those rooms. I would look at his airports and make sure they do have the lounge for the airline you are thinking of purchasing - not all airports have all airlines lounges. You can google Crown rooms for Delta and see what amenities are availabe in certain locations. (or whichever airline you are thinking about)

Satine,
The others have given good advice. All the travellers I book for have lounge access so check first if they are frequent flyers. I think business class usually gets you access to the lounge also.

Gee
You are quite right. Business class usually does get the traveller into the louges, although I would avoid Cork City airport lounge - it is a huge disappointment.

Thank you all lovely ladies. My boss flies Economy and would really appreciate a quieter, child free place to chill. I will look into the suggestions you posted. Thanks again for your time. ïŠ
