In AdminAdvantage we have an article on Global Warming. What are your thoughts.

Is it a normal cycle such as the ice age, or is it caused by human consequence?

I don't think either theory can be discounted.  Nature does have a cycle of these things, and with all the pollution we create, it has to have some effect on our environment.

Greed, I guess is the ultimate cause!

I don't doubt that the climate is changing - as it has done for thousands of years, back and forth - but I think that it's cyclical.  We've been warm before, we've been cold before.  I remember way back in the 70s that all the scientists that are currently shouting that the sky is falling in - sorry, that we're getting warmer - were saying just the opposite - that we were actually heading for another ice age.

I live in the UK where, some few centuries ago, it was warm enough to produce grapes for wine in the north of the country, in Scotland!

I don't condone heavy use of pollutants but I do believe Mother Earth is capable of righting the wrongs we are doing.

The IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) claims that they have 2000 expert scientists signed up to their recent report.  What they don't say is that quite a large number of those same scientists have asked for their names to be taken *off* that report as they dispute the science - that little snippet of information is kept pretty quiet.

And did you know, for instance, that during a single year, according to new research, a full-grown moose expels – from both ends – the methane equivalent of 2,100kg of carbon dioxide emissions. That is said to be as destructive for the atmosphere as the emissions released by 13,000km (8,000 miles) of car travel.

So cows, sheep and moose are doing a lot of damage.  Should we get rid of all the animals that produce all this gas and become vegetarians?  I guess if we did, then we would be blamed for producing that same gas ourselves ...

Hmm.
