I think the first half of the year may prove challenging for us financially, but the second half will improve.

I consider myself a pragmatist.

However, I am not a worrier and while I do plan for a worse case scenario, I tend to assume the best case scenario will result (an excellent frame of mind which I wish more people would adopt). So I would consider myself an optimist if forced to choose.
