To everyone in the States, are you all ok?  Are you/your families safe?  Huh

I hope so!

echoed by some of us in another post, and from me here too.  Stay safe warm and dry everyone and let us know how you fare.  Hopefully you will not come off too badly if you've battened down and got away to safety / higher ground (not always as easy as it sounds, I know)

My family is from Jersey, trying to keep tabs on them.  Our board meeting in NY has been relocated.  I'm worried about one of our employees who lives in Manhattan.  My hubby working extra hours to get planes to Atl and taking advantage of down time for extra maintenance.  37 degrees this morning was cold - not ready for this!
Please heed the warnings for anyone in the area of the storm.

Atlanta

Big Cyber-hug coming your way in the hope that everyone is/remains ok, especially the guy in Manhattan!

PS, think we need a smiley with 2 big hands coming together to denote a cyber hug, don't you agree?

Atlanta... prayers going up for your family.  I know that we have a lot of connections to that part of the US on this site, be it friends, families, or Users themselves, so sending prayers for all of them.

Here! LOL...I slept thru most of Sandy last night in a quiet dry house!  Power on and heat.  Couldn't have asked for a better situation than that in a potentially bad storm.

Praying for all those who are dealing with much worse circumstances than we have here.

Here in GA just had some strong winds and a little rain.  However, coworkers in NJ and PA are not faring so well due to storm damage and the shortages of gasoline and power outages.  Cell phone service still sketchy in the effected areas.  I was able to get thru to one friend finally yesterday.  She is in NJ and was told not to expect power to be restored until around Nov 5 in her area.  CNN has great footage on their website.  Hope our DD friends from that area are safe.
