Do feel you are respected by your peers? Is there anyone in your immediate work group that you respect? (boss, peer?)

I could count them on my one hand Susan, secretaries are not treated very well let alone respected.
I have respect for some of the people I work for, but it's a two- way thing, respect needs to be earned.

I am well respected by my peers.
I am not as respected as I wish or should be by my boss, which gets quite frustrating and interferes with my ability to do my job at times.

I feel respected and taken for granted at the same time. However, for those file clerks and the dispatcher that I supervise, I make an effort to extend advice, train, and hand out kudos as necessary. I would have loved the same when I was starting out. I want to keep the support I have and need to give a little support to get some support. Unfortunatley, the boss does not always see it the same way I do. I try to gain respect by giving respect.
