Hello,

Apologies for my dim question, I am getting a tad confused on how to work my query out re my holiday accrual.

I have 22.5 days annual leave (pro rata).  I started after the Company leave starts, 1st Jan 2018 & ends in Dec 18.  I joined the Company on 5th Feb 18.

Have taken 5 days already, which leaves 17.5 left for the rest of the year.


If I leave the Company on 14th Sep 18 - how many days holiday am I entitled to get paid for?


Any guidance on calculation would be gratefully accepted.

You'll have to check your company HR policy. Every company is different. Same with country. If you mean leave as in quit, you may be entitled to nothing. But then again, it may not be that way, if you give notice. If you mean leave as in retirement, then you might be entitled to it all.

Hi Deb123,

When I say "leave" I mean hand in my resignation.  I have checked my Company HR Policy and I am entitled to any days that I have accrued.
