I've had them in the past from previous and my current employer before they were bought out. They've come at Xmas and ranged from 1 month - 1 week's salary. One year (back in the bouyant days!) I managed to recarpet the downstairs of a previous house house with what I got from the Xmas bonus - carpet was purchased in the January sales though.
I've also received bonuses at other times of the year when sales have been extra good and then everyone has been rewarded financially
This year we've been told no more Xmas bonus as new owners aren't doing it.
Still I'm grateful to be working in these difficult times.
