Good lord, gee, what has got your knickers in a bunch today? I asked a simple question. Quit looking for insults where none are intended. I'm well aware that there is life outside the US, but that doesn't mean I think everyone who lives outside the US spends their lives reading about what happens here.

Anyone see the movie Bad Boys? Wooo-saw!
No one really knows at first just how wide information spreads. It is funny "I" was thinking to myself (before I saw this post) I wonder if it is just the Silicon Valley/San Francisco Bay Area that had it announced or if it was as big as news deal all over. Of course it is big here. :-) well, I have my answer to that!

MODERATOR'S HAT ON
Ok ladies, that's enough; if you continue this thread will be locked! As has been said before, if you can't be nice, don't say anything.
This is getting a little heated over something simple. People are entitled to ask how a news story such as this is being handled in other parts of the world.
If, however, others have a valid point to make about Steve Jobs, his death, how it's reported, the amendments to the Apple logo appearing on Facebook etc in his memory, then please do so.

In Germany it was in the news, on almost everey channel. The "Steve Jobs glasses" were a German product, and are sold out here.
