I was looking at seamless and thought that is a good sound off topic.   Hoe often do you cater food and what do you order?  Has it changed over the years.

In my prior positions, I used to order a ton of catering. In my current position, I almost never do (and we are encouraged to use our in house service when we do).

In my current position I only order catering three or four times a year.  I have noticed a trend to healthier food in my office, more salads and fruit trays.  The desserts have been reduced, even chips with sandwiches are either smaller bags or left off completely.  Breakfast is less sticky buns, more fruit and bagels.  We have also been ordering less, the first year I was here left overs were a standard at least twice a week and yummy stuff, calabash fried shrimp Grin from a really good local chain, if I didn't like the selection I would make a plate for the hubby - one less dinner to fix.

I order lunches for the Board meetings that I attend.  We all do at whatever level we work in my company.  Our lunches are very simple: sandwiches and fruit, or salads for those who can't eat sandwiches.  We used to have cakes and biscuits, but have stopped these because they add to the cost.
