This is sooooo true!  And now we are building the "Texas 5", a 5 tier highway interchange connecting LBJ and Central.  Avoid at all costs.  I now take DART (aka, the bus) so I don't have to deal with these things.

Sounds exactly like Atlanta drivers/traffic.  The only thing missing is the 47 streets named Peachtree.

Oh I know what you mean!  Hubby and I drove to Mexico a couple summers ago.
I hated driving through Texas!  Traffic was terrible and too fast and it was near impossible to find a vacancy at any hotel/motel.
