As many people have stated... America as a nation has lost her innocence. This is the start of a new America and things will never be the same again.
What a shame that it takes all of this to prove to us that we are just as susceptible to attack as anyone. And I'm crying, that so many lives were lost, while rejoicing that some will have survived.

KSmile, I think we'll get through this ... but I don't know if we'll ever be 'ok' ... we lived through history. I know that I'm feeling - THIS ISN'T SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN IN REAL LIFE. I can't decide if it feels more like a Clancy book or an action movie. Either way, I want to turn the page or keep watching for it to not be real. But it is real, and it's horrible. I'm still crying, still afraid, but I feel stronger after what our President said last night.
I know he'll probably get a lot of criticism because he didn't show emotion or vow vengeance, but one line of his did give me pause - 'Our military is strong, and they are ready.'
That said it ALL to me. GWB will be strong in this, I believe. So we all have to be strong also...
