I've always found it fascinating to talk to older people to get their impressions on how things have changed. For example, my grandmother loved to talk about her father's investment oppotunity. Apparently, he had gotten ahold of a little bit of money and decided to invest it in a milk company instead of Pepsi, since "everyone drinks milk, and Pepsi's just a fad!"
