I have a question for fellow DDers: if you are invited to a job interview and know there are to be TWO interviews, what clothes would you wear to the two interviews?  Would you wear your best suit to the first interview on the basis that first impressions really count and you want to be invited back (and clothes are part of the "package") or would you save the best suit to the second interview on the basis that it might be remembered?

Thank you very much.

Hi Raindance

I think i would probably wear the best suit for the first interview as i'm a firm believer in first impressions and i would want to stand out in the first instance.

Although i totally understand what you are saying about being remembered..... hmmmm tough one.

However it goes, good luck x

I'd be inclined to wear the best for the first interview - after all, you want to make a fabulous impression on the first go around to ensure that you will be called back.  Is there some way you can accessorize the second best, to spiff it up so that it can compete in the league with the best one?

I only have one suit and I just went through this. I wore the suit to the first interview, and to the second I wore a non-matching jacket and skirt. It seemed to be okay--I got the job!
