Of that there is no doubt
His Open win at Sandwich
Made us scream and shout

The weather didn’t help
But still he struggled on
The wobbly greens and fairways
Only made him strong

After all the hype
It is true to say
Norn Iron is the capital
Of the golfing world today

Through good times and the bad
Chubby had his back
And our Irishman kept going
Of that we have the knack

Rory, G-Mac and Darren
Made their dreams come true
Playing links golf at Portrush
Throughout the UK too

And so the next encounter
Back on major ground
Tis the PGA Atlanta
Will Tiger be around?

Ryder Cup Captain Monty
Says you cannot achieve
A major aged 40
