In these tight times, we can't even purchase office supplies right now. I hope she paid for them out of her own funds. However, they are judged by appearance and not always by their knowledge and experience. Alot of things are like that in life. Also, in these times of high prices, that price is not surprising if she was buying suits, shoes, handbags etc. You know she did not shop at TJ Maxx or Ross discount stores:) I would say Saks is more like it.
