I haven't posted before now because I know this will be controversial and not everyone thinks the same, but regardless of what this person was going through, none of us have the right to judge anyone.

I never really understood addiction until a family member died a few years back.  When I realised what that person went through for many years in their life, I began to comprehend the severity of it all.

Not everyone has an addictive personality but when someone else feeds that addiction, it can have disastrous effects.

Some people cannot handle fame, they have so much money they are always looking for their next fix.  This was a troubled soul, may she now rest in peace.

It's a dreadful loss in everyway and I can't help thinking she was let down and / or used by everyone.

I wondered why someone wasn't with her 24/7 to help her get clean.  However I read this morning a bodyguard had been appointed over the last few months...was that enough?

If it was me, I firmly believe my family would removed me from society and put me in rehab until I was clean.  It was as if her parents just resigned themselves to the fact she was already dead.  Or do people think, well she's an adult I can't make her do this or that?

Didn't I read something a while back (I am talking years not weeks here!) that Amy's dad tried to seize control of his daughter's life and try to force her into rehab, which she fought against?  That doesn't seem like a father who just let it happen!

True, but I would have moved in with her to help her out, keep her from anything or anyone that would harm her.

Can't understand her management company thinking she was well enough to start touring again.
