I stay inside the office during lunch. I usually bring one of those frozen lunch-size meals and bring a piece of fruit. I consider myself very thrifty (cheap)!

Ooooh, I love going out to lunch, and the area I'm at has a great variety if restaurants.
These days, though, I've been bringing SlimFast for lunch... I've been pretty good...

Nevermind I'm broke half the time! But I still continue to go out for lunch! Ideally I would to brown bag it but I have determined myself to do it

Most of the time I like to brown bag it when the weather is nice cause the girls go walking around the building for the second half hour of lunch, so when you brown bag you have more time to walk. If you eat out, sometimes we don't walk.
I've been getting into the McDonalds fruit and yogert parfaits and the chicken salad shaker is wonderful. Sometimes we go to the mall to our food court or we go to our local sub shop, wonderful itailian subs on a nice hot day, yummy.
I'm off today so I guess I can sit out on my patio and soak the sun for the afternoon.

What's lunch?
I'm still at my desk; I try to pack (usually a frozen Budget Gourmet-type meal), but when I don't I usually just skip lunch. Rarely I'll break down and spend $3 for a cheapy sandwich. Prices are SO rediculous when you think of how much it woudl cost you to make it yourself.

I bring my lunch more than I go out. We're only allowed 45 minutes for lunch if we go out (30 if we brown bag it), and there's really not much variety since I work out in the boonies. But there is a pretty good mom and pop place down the road that does a lunch buffet, and a mom and pop bbq place a little farther down the road. Fast food is the farthest away, but almost everybody does it on Friday since there's a Wendy's right next to the bank.

I'm really lucky because I get to walk home for lunch! So, I guess I'm a leftovers person.

Usually I bring a lunch, but we tend to go out for Subway or something once a week or so. Also there is so much food around the office, I often don't even hafta worry about lunch--like this week, someone brought in a big pan of lasange one day , we had our monthly birthday party--which is more like a brunch--and tomorrow we're having a potluck BBQ! No wonder I have put on so much weight since I started working here! oof!

I pack my lunch along with my husband's. About once a week though we grab some fast food. I work near him so we usually have lunch together.

Either bologna and American cheese or peanut butter and grape jelly, white bread and a golden delicious apple. I am very Ernie and Bert about my lunch cuz I'm annoying. I hate to try and decide, since Midtown Manhattan has so much. So, I have no choice, just what's in the house.

I'm very lucky, because my company supplies lunch to everyone for free.
Though sometimes different groups go out for special occasions, or just to get away. If it weren't free, I'd probably be a mix of eating out/brown bagging it.

My husband and I normally take turns making our lunches. I can't see both of us spending about $10 a day. For us, that would wind up costing us about $120 a week because my husband has to work both Saturdays and Sundays a lot. So I eat my sandwich around 11:30 or so and then leave the office for a little over an hour (shhh! it's only supposed to be an hour!) at 12:15 or so. Since my mother lives about 10 minutes from my work, I drive there and exercise on my Cardio Glide for 20 minutes, bathe, and drive back to work. My husband wants me to bring my machine home, and I say no way, this is so convenient for me, and it's when I have the most energy! It doesn't hurt that I watch Port Charles during that time too.

I sometimes get the opportunity to go home at lunch. I only live 4 miles away from work but I still bring my lunch cause I find myself running late coming back from lunch. It's very hard when you are home and KNOW you have to go back to the office. On rare occasions hubby will have the day off and I don't and that makes it even more hard to come back to work after lunch break.
I too use to watch Port Charles when I first started going home for lunch. Now that the nicer weather is here, I will be walking outside after I eat my packed lunch. Today was McDonalds Salad Shaker day, yummy. Now that they have those fruit and yogert parfaits and salad shakers, I'll be stopping in there more often than I used to, forget the greasy cheesburger, salad yum.
Besides a short drive in the wintertime makes it really nice. Sometimes if its nasty it will take me a 1/2 hour or more to get to work even if it's only 4 miles.
TGIF!
