The more I read the threads the more I got confused but your theory makes sense.
M and MM are Roman for thousands and million and K is for Kilo so 25.000 can be written 25K and 25M.
That's confusing!!

Ummm.... isn't M = 1000 and MM = 2000?  (Like in the year 2000, the copyright at the end of films was "MM")
