My boss will be going to New York City next week for a training symposium. Approximately how much is the cab fare from La Guardia to the Roosevelt Hotel? Thanks.

I believe there is a flat $30 fare from NYC airports to downtown. If the driver is good, Boss should tip no more than 15%. This airport fare notice is posted in all the regular yellow cabs I have been in lately (I was there last week), so Boss will see the notice when he/she gets in the cab. LaGuardia is in Queens, but this shouldn't matter. The consumer hotline for taxis, should you need it, is 212-NYC-TAXI; sorry there doesn't seem to be a toll free #. Yellow Cab info # is 212-840-4572 as an alternate.
