Today I Received an email from an admin in the UK, via the email of my hosts, here in London.  I invite you to share your respective strengths with our UK counterparts via the link on the home page of www.DeskDemon.com.  You'll have to register but it's very fast and no spam.

This letter written by a PA (that's brit for Admin) makes an interesting comment about the victims of the twin towers, and like Liz's post it brought me nearly to tears.

So take your solidarity across the pond, take it global, and thank our friends who seem to have such a pertinent grasp of our collective agony. The original post you're looking for is from a PA named Claire Tilton

Is it possible to also let them know about us... so that we share not only across the miles but across internet sites?  Especially during this time of tragedy and solidarity we're discovering from it we could all of us use any way of communicating with other admins and *people* out there.

Some how I wish her words and Liz's could be shared with our newspeople who are so busy listing the "important folks" who haven't been heard from yet but aren't even thinking of those of us who work so hard in the background and never get noticed.

Just follow your heart CG, post over there if like, read what's been written by a few others and let them know you're hearing them.  They'll know.

Wow - I would encourage our members to visit this forum ... even though The Admin Authority has global members, let's reach out to these new friends, across the pond.

Not only another forum for discussion on these events, but another resource for Admins ... what a great thing!

Our office received a message from someone who lives in Estonia (used to work here).

Even though his own country is going through hard times, he took the time to wish us well and greive for our loss.

It really touched my heart.
