I left work yesterday with a borrowed umbrella to get to my car (only a hundred yards away but still!) and had great fun getting into my car - it was an automatic brolly which wouldn't darn' well close up!  So I'm getting soaked trying to close it.  And then give up and have it semi-opened in the passenger footwell!!

Drove off in hailstones which you could still see on the ground for about 15 minutes after the storm had passed.  Britain in June!

I'm off to Scotland end of next week and I'm hoping for at least no rain!
