My boss has decided that for one of our new jobs he wants to use the AIA Subcontract instead of our standard subcontract we send out to our subs.  (We are the sub on this job and I have no idea why the General isn't doing this paperwork.  Bossie is notorious for "giving" things away like this.)  That means filling it in on the typewriter (instead of editing the template in Word) and my typewriter has keys that stick.  What I mean is that if type a word with certain letters in it twice, I have to sit and wait for the key to work its way back up before I can press it again.  Takes forever to type something and I avoid using it because of the frustration it causes.

Do any of you have a computerized fill in AIA form you could e-mail me???  I do have the full version of Adobe Acrobat, so a pdf fill in would work with no problem.

Do you have a scanner? You could scan it and turn it into a PDF of your own. Getting a proper one that has been made from the orginal document would b better though.
Where does this form come from? You could ring that office and ask if they had an electronic version. I bet they do, they just don't publicise it.

Sounds like your typewriter could do with a service!

It is illegal to use the electronic version unless you are licensed to do so.  As a general contractor we do hold a license for this.  It is software directly from the AIA.
