The hubby and I went across the pond to Hardwick Hall, Chatsworth House and Heritage Motor Coach museum. Trip was wonderful we had perfect if a smidge chilly weather. Only downer was the rental car cost - it was triple from the online book price. No one told us about the mandatory insurance! I want to go back and spend more time in the Chatsworth gardens, this time I will plan for the rental car expense, or look into other options.
Fall ramps up my volunteer season and my part time job will kick in for a few Saturdays also - keeps me out of trouble and as I'm a football widow...

Not been around much, more lurking and reading than posting I've been so busy.
Atlanta your holiday sounds like you had fun in the UK and got around quite a bit, shame about the insurance.

Been busy with school starting back up, Scouts starting back up, and life getting back to better footing (re: hubby and I)... but looks like i may be slowing down a bit come Friday at noon.... if a budget don't get passed, my department runs out of funding at that time and we go home. I'm actually going to honestly say I wouldn't mind a week off, whether or not they come back later and pay us. But that's me....

Have had some health issues, so have just been reading all of your posted work issues when I can. Surgery was canceled, as insurance company denied benefit. Finding ways to deal with the pain, which comes and goes.
Hope to be posting more often, as I've always enjoyed DD.
