The Records Management Society
The Records Management Society is the foremost professional association for all those who work in, or
are concerned with records or information management. Launched in 1983, RMS recognised the ever-increasing number of people working in the elds of records and information management. All those concerned with records and information can join the Society, regardless of their professional or organisational status and quali cations. Organisations wishing to develop records or information systems as well as those that provide services in these elds are also welcome. Through close and regular contact with its own members and with related professions, the Records Management Society encourages the highest professional standards.
