Safety Management (UK) has launched a free fire safety quiz on their website. The quiz tests candidates on their knowledge of general fire safety, and is particularly appropriate to the modern workplace.
This simple quiz is designed to help candidates decide if they require fire safety training or if they are confident on the subject. Through a series of ten questions, it challenges the candidate on a mixture of general fire safety principles and workplace specific issues.
The quiz is also ideal for employers looking for a quick way to test the knowledge of their team. Legislation states that all employees must be trained in the actions to be taken in the event of a fire, so this free tool allows employers to make an assessment of their team and then arrange training accordingly.
As a provider of all levels of fire safety training, from Basic Fire Awareness through to Firefighter Emergency Response Training, Safety Management (UK) have no shortage of expertise in this area. This quiz represents the first of a series of free exercises designed to help people assess their training needs.
Brian Gregory, Managing Director, said: “This is our chance to invest something back into the working community. We understand that many companies aren’t always sure which members of staff are most in need of fire safety training, so by giving them this free tool, we can help them determine this. In the event of a fire, there won’t be time to check Google for advice on what to do, so it’s imperative people know enough to get themselves out.”
