5 February: The CHS Group, organisers of the annual Conference and Hospitality Show which is taking place in the Centenary Pavilion at Leeds United Football Club on the 30th April, have unveiled their expansion plans for the 2013 show.
The show, which is the only Meetings Industry Exhibition outside of London, has expanding by 50% year on year since its launch 4 years ago and is now attracting buyers and exhibitors from across the UK.
Some of the exhibitors appearing at the one day event include Visit Scotland, The North East Hoteliers Association, Warwick Conferences, Pride of Britain, Marriott, Radisson Blu, Shire Hotels and Apex Hotels.
CHS Director Sue Beverley said: “We have found demand increasing from both exhibitors and visitors which in the current climate is fantastic. As a result we have expanded the floor space in the venue and also our hosted buyer programme this year, as we have more Agents than ever wanting to stay in the region and experience what it can offer.”
Highlights of the 2013 show include:
3 Seminar stages – including a stage for PA’s featuring Helena Bonham Carter's PA and a presentation on “Behind your Back: The Importance of Your Personal Brand”
A Creative Quarter that will literally unfold before visitors eyes as the day progresses. Themed around a Japanese garden; Events Company, Chilled Events, will create the sights and sounds of a traditional Japanese garden, complete with Geisha girls and sushi demonstrations
An extensive hosted buyer programme which will includeattending the show with a VIP 1 hour preview, accommodation the night before and hospitality from some of the best hotels in Leeds, complimentary transport, prize draws and access to a fully hosted VIP area
A CONCIERGE SERVICE - designed to ensure that everyone who visits the show has a great experience that is tailor made for them
