AirPlus goes on a City Safari - new smartphone app geared to frequent travellers and cosmopolites plus prizes to be won!
AirPlus, leading global provider of solutions for the management of business travel, has released a smartphone app for business travellers. With the “AirPlus City Safari”, frequent travellers and cosmopolites can prove their knowledge of metropolises around the world and see how they compare with other globetrotters. The objective of the AirPlus City Safari is to solve more than 200 questions and tasks related to 20 cities, finishing at the top of the rankings in order to win.
A bit of curiosity and knowledge is all it takes to conquer the big city jungle: How many steps does the stairway of the Berlin TV tower have? At which London underground station must you exit to see the zebra crossing made famous by the Beatles? How many lanes are there on the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco? The AirPlus City Safari combines quiz, treasure hunt and geocoaching in one app and can be played offline as well as online.
Points are awarded for correct answers according to the level of difficulty. The quiz runs until 31 May 2012. Top ranking participants can look forward to winning attractive prizes: The first-place winner will receive a Sony Full HD 3D television worth EUR 2,500. Other prizes include Nikon camera outfits, Rimowa luggage and Bose headphones.
The app is available in German and English for all Apple iOS, Android and Blackberry OS smartphones and tablets. It can be downloaded for free from iTunes, Google Play, or Blackberry Appworld and also www.airplus-citysafari.com.
